Do I need an account?

No. We're thinking accounts might be nice for upvotes/downvotes, but so far we're keeping it nice and simple.

Do I have to hand over any data?

We only collect lightweight, privacy-friendly analytics to squash bugs and keep everything running smoothly.

How does Buyyit make money?

Some links include a standard affiliate tag. If you buy something, the retailer kicks us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Those commissions pay our server bills and let us keep the site free.

Do affiliate partnerships influence which products you feature?

Absolutely not. We pick products first, then we look for an affiliate link. Often there isn't one, and that's fine. Our priority is the best retailer for you: fair price, solid warranty, good return policy. Doing right by you is more important than earning a commission.

Do affiliate links change the price I pay?

Nope. The price is exactly the same whether you click through us or go directly to the store. Using our link just tells the retailer we sent you and helps us keep the lights on.

Buyyit is missing my favorite subreddit - what gives?

Every page is hand-curated to make sure the recs are actually useful. We started with subs we know well and we try to add new ones every week. Shoot us a note with the sub you're hoping for, some products you love, and we'll bump it up on our to-do list.
